Have you ever thought about being a Big Brother or Big Sister? It only takes four hours per month to help change the life of a child right here in Cass County. We serve children in our Community Based Program between the ages of 5 - 18. If you can give more time, that is great. However, the minimum requirement is only four hours per month. You really can make a difference. Acitivities the matches can do are up to the two individuals but can include things like watching movies, playing board games, walking the trails, going to the park & just hanging out! So join the volunteers that give a young person someone to look up to and learn why so many are now saying, "I get back so much more than I give." |
Volunteering is fun! Being a Big Sister is simple and rewarding. It is as easy as showing your new Little Sister how to play a favorite computer game, bake an apple pie or reading the funnies together. We’ve learned that being someone special to a child doesn’t take much more than that. But the impact is huge—for both of you! Children need the friendship and guidance of someone like YOU.
